My son and I went to the Dallas Public House for lunch on Saturday. The staff is unbelievable, warm and friendly. Our server was Zack and his knowledge of the so impressive you would have thought you were in a high end 5 star restaurant. First thing you should know is that Chef Josh on every Friday's adds a dish that is NOT on the menu for the weekend. After Zack told us about the specials for the day, Chef Josh happened to be out on the floor and answered a few questions. The special this weekend was the Bacon Pimento Burger. We started with the "PUB HOUSE SAMPLER" which had; Fried Pickles, Santa Fe Eggrolls, Mozzarella Sticks and Soft Pretzels. My son ordered the 1/2 Lb Bacon Pimento Burger and I went with the Grilled Chicken Sandwich. If my wife was there, she with out a doubt would have ordered their "CAP'N CRUNCH CHICKEN TENDERS". Yes the chicken tenders are breaded with Captain Crunch cereal! The food was fantastic! This is a must go to spot!
