The food is excellent! Great breakfast and great lunch! Prices are high and very inconsistent. If i went everyday for a week and got the same thing, the price varies depending on the cashier since you are charged per time instead of a set rate. it would be better if the rate was set for a meat and 2 veggies with bread and drink instead of per item. Great people though!!! Always super great service and always the same faces so they get to know you! Oh, they have oatmeal for breakfast!!! That is awesome!

The Longstreet Cafe never fails to meet my desire for a good ole' Southern breakfast. Their sausage is so flavorful and the hashbrowns are just the way I like them! Biscuits are tasty and prices are quite fair. Staff are always friendly and quick to assist. Love The Longstreet - I just need to branch out past breakfast!

A nice feature for a quick breakfast for those on the go. Their biscuits are huge and are always hot. Service is fast and friendly.

People in Gainesville come here for community. Friday & Saturday mornings especially, expect a crowd of locals. It's a buffet, a la carte menu, which if you're eating in means the pricing is variable depending on who serves you. This is frustrating for budget eaters. One link of sausage can cost just as much as 3 links depending on who rings you up at the register. But, the biscuits are as top-notch as they come in the south. Homemade, good smooth texture, huge, and just the right amount of salt. The gravy is so-so. Aside from the excellent biscuits, the food is good, overall, but not exceptional. One of the best places in Gainesville.
