This was a very easy and accessible waterfall for all ages. It has a clearly laid out path with a slight incline all the way up to observation deck. The observation deck offers great views of the falls and ample room for pictures. There are placards along the path that offer info on other items you come across on your way up to the falls.

Short hike to beautiful falls. Facilities were well maintained. Next trip we want to walk into the park from Unicoi on the Smith Creek Trail.

$3 an adult (kids are free) gets you a short hike on a wide, paved path to a pretty great waterfall. The area is well maintained and there is a gift shop and bathrooms next to the parking lot. My 6 year old read the various signs along the way which added to the duration of the short trail and made it more educational. Fantastic!

I wanted a little bit of a hike with my view of the falls so I took the Smith Creek tail to it (about 4.3 miles one way) and then took the 0.5mile walkway to the parking lot for the falls where we had another car waiting. The falls are beautiful with several viewing platforms. There is a fee to enter the area but it's worth it.

We brought our three children (ages 13, 7, and 2) for a quick hike before we went home, and it was definitely worth it. It is a short hike at 0.5 miles, but it is steep in some places. The trail is entirely paved, so if you had a stroller you could push it. The views were fabulous and can't be beaten!
