We stopped for a single evening with the kids. Lakefront campground was nice. Standard KOA amenities. On-site dog bark was a nice addition to the campground. We would visit again (and tried, but they were booked up on spring break Thursday night).

We stayed here for one night on our way back from FL to PA. Easy check in, and our escort Tim was awesome...Very accommodating and a great personality! We requested a fire pit, and he brought it directly to our site with 2 bundles of wood. The store was well stocked, and the girls were happy that we were finally at a campground that we could make s'mores! The pool was great, and the campground was very well kept. The showers were clean, and it was nice to have laundry on site. So easy to get to (right off 95),and would definitely stay here again!

We found the Savannah South KOA to be quiet and comfortable. The bathhouses were near the front of the facility and were clean and warm. Pools were closed for the winter season. The lake was nice and had a fair amount of wildlife to see. We were traveling on St. Patrick's Day weekend and used Uber to get into downtown Savannah since there weren't any other methods for getting into Savannah that we were aware of. Staff was pleasant and check-in was fast and efficient.

KOA is always a good stop. This particular campground is near Route 95 . Keeps you away from the craziness of Savannah, but close enough to get there without a long drive. Restaurants, gas stations etc, near by. We have stayed here many times & love the pond with the swans.

Stayed at this KOA several times. Staff friendly, price a little high, but not many campgrounds close to the city. The tourist trolley picks up at the campground and tours the city. You can get on and off at any stop. The campground has two large ponds with many swans and geese. Close to I 95. Sites fairly level, good utilities with free WiFi and cable.
