Room 111 had a horrific mildew smell. Window inoperable (fixed in place). Sink drain stopper broken. HVAC system sounded like a motor boat propeller. Bed pillows flat as pancakes. To say the least yuck!

We stayed here on our 35th. wedding anniversary for 4 nights. It was awesome. You can walk to the village and Angie and Dee Dee were so nice. Room was very large and clean. Under shelter parking. We plan to stay there next year again.

Friendly staff, off street parking and excellent location made this the perfect one night stop. Easy walk to numerous restaurants and the quaint pier area shops. At lower tide levels you can access the beach a block away. Ocean, light house and a wonderful park are steps away.

Rooms could use updating, towel rack and water cup with metal were very rusty, dings in paint.. otherwise it could be above average.

Long on our list of places to go Saint Simon's Island was finally chosen as a short road trip. We booked the Saint Simon's Island Inn by the Lighthouse based on a reasonable price and its proximity to the lighthouse.
We were pleasantly surprized by how nice it was, only a few little things that are worth a mention, not a complaint.
The room was quite nice, though a few things needed "fixing". The knob on the bathroom door was loose- so I took out my Leatherman tool and tightened the screws to secure the doorknob. (No charge to the hotel)
I also tightened the handles on the shower doors.
Nice continental breakfast in the mornings, bagels, muffins, turnovers, yogurt, juice, coffee, tea, and more. Cant really complain.
Nice staff and the housekeepers were super nice as well.
Proximity to the lighthouse is outstanding and we even brought our bikes which we were able to lock up by the pool.
I would certainly stay there again if the rates remain reasonable.
No major complaints, worth the stay. Enjoyed our trip to St. Simons very much. Next time we will stay longer.

Room Tip: View of the lighthouse or balcony would be nice

Just the right spot for exploring the village. We also walked to the trolley for a tour. Room was clean and bountiful continental breakfast was an unexpected perk. There was a lovely common area where my family played board games. Friendly receptionist.
