We stayed at the Tree House. It is a beautiful location with an excellent view and access to the waters below. Online the Tree House is listed as fully equipped. It’s more moderately equipped and here are a few things that would have been helpful to know in advance:
1)Access to the Tree House requires a 50 yard trek up and down a trail. It would not be appropriate for anyone with mobility issues. And pack light because you have to load all your belongs in and out by using that trail.
2)Bring your own towels. They do not offer laundry service. There was only 1 kitchen wash cloth & 5 towels for a cabin that sleeps 8.
3)The outdoor lighting does not work. There was cute Christmas lights on the back porch but they didn’t turn on. The path to the cabin and to the water had lighting installed that did not light up. We requested they fix them and they ignored us. This made a very treacherous route for our children walking back from the beach bonfire to go potty.
4)The fridge is dorm size! The pots are all 2qt or smaller. Nothing big enough to boil pasta. Only 1 wine glass. The patio grill could use a good scrub down. We chose not to use it.
5)Bring your own trash bags, which you have to haul to the top of the hill every day before 10am.
6)The cabin was clean with decent bed linens. The beds sag a bit but are not terrible.
7) The DVD player did not work (we brought 5 movies for the kids) but they did have dish network TV.
8) There were only 3 outdoor chairs by the fire pit. We bought an extra chair and it was stolen by another camper. We’ve never had anything stolen from us at a campsite before. It was a major bummer.
9)The location is absolutely beautiful! They did a cute job on the cabin decor. It was spacious enough for the 4 adults and 3 kids. But be mindful of water snakes!
