This was a two night stay as part of our Luxury Escapes package. A truly magical part of the world and one of the loveliest beach coves we have ever seen. The ride in is not pleasant, made worse by the choice of Toyota Hilux - known as one of the bumpiest rides!
Resort is simple and gorgeous for this aspect amongst others - lovely staff ( but would flourish with more guidance), superb accomodation ( highly recommend number 11), lots of wildlife and complete serenity.
All meals are part of the stay here and there is no option to eat anywhere else due to the very remote location. Now maybe due to off peak season ( and we were one of only two groups staying at the time), perhaps the chef is not on duty, but our food choices were very limited, tiny serves and often inedible. On several occasions the ingredients were good but had been cooked so badly, the dish was awful - eg calamari panfried in oil not hot enough, so becomes limp and soggy with oil.
Sausage salad? Really? Tom Yum soup made with fish instead of chicken ( one of us cannot eat fish) and despite us querying the ingredients, we were to,d it was chicken when it very clearly was not.
Sounds like I'm being picky and really would love to see the resort takes this as constructive criticism as this aspect if improved, could change the success of the resort very quickly - it does look as though things might be on the downhill slide, and that would be a real shame.

Put this on your bucket list! Remote, unspoiled, picturesque and staffed by a special group of friendly caring hospitality professionals

This really is a special place and the journey in and out is a truly interesting and educational experience

The timid wild monkeys were a bonus- 2 nights is a minimum-3or 4 would be perfect

Room Tip: The original 5 huts probably have the best position but all good

I stayed in this beautiful place end of last year. The journey to Jeeva beloam was quite an adventure. Going through dirt road surrounded by dry forest, beautiful in its own way. Finally we arrived in this beautiful resort. Everybody was so friendly and helpful. Quiet, peaceful, thats what you need when you are on holiday. It could be very windy, but not a problem with an amazing view we have in this resort. We took a trip to the quiet beaches nearby and its beautiful and not crowded. Since it is a full board style resort, meals sometime can be a problem. But not in Jeeva Beloam. Pak Ali, the chef cook excellent meals every day. I do miss this place and will come back.

My husband and I enjoyed 2 magnificent nights here as part of a package that also included 5 nights at Jeeva Klui. I would recommend it without hesitation and particularly the 7 night package.

The beach camp is very isolated but therein is its appeal. All rooms have a magnificent view of the white sand beach and are very spacious and well fitted out. A stay at Beloam is absolutely about rest and relaxation We did visit the nearby pink beach and enjoyed some snorkelling but the main activity here is to swim, relax and enjoy the seclusion.

The staff are very warm and accommodating. The food is simple but very tasty.

The drive in from the airport takes about 90minutes and the last 30 minutes is on a very bumpy dirt road. This all just adds to the adventure I think. Overall a wonderful experience and highly recommended for a 2 night stay.

Jeeva Beloam has an incredible location right on a private beach, surrounded by protected forests. The villas have a simple modern design, and all have a perfect view of the ocean. Great activities are included in the accommodation, including snorkelling and kayaking. However whilst staff were lovely, communication was often frustratingly lacking, for example when organising a massage they failed to let me know that there was a spa that I had to go to (a building with no sign or number!); or when I suggested that a boat trip would need to be cancelled because of a storm they shrugged and said that they didn't know. It would have also been helpful for staff to give a heads up about some of the realities of living in a forest, eg. be careful where you walk at night because there are snakes, or don't leave your food, clothing, or cosmetic products out at night because they will be relentlessly eaten by mice (we ended up keeping our clothes in the safe!). Also given they have such a captive clientele (no other restaurants/bars around), you would think that they would invest in better food (basic Indonesian food mostly, but occasionally containing bugs! and often very small servings) and a good bar that makes cocktails. Overall a great spot for a quiet holiday, but the small frustrating things are what makes the difference between an okay resort and a great one that you'll come back to time and time again.

Dear Nao_12,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience in such detail. I very much appreciate your gracious words about the team and I feel privileged to work with such special people on a daily basis. We strive every day to stay humble and take all your feedback in the most constructive way so we can enhance the guest experience for every guest that visits our resort. You are absolutely correct in expecting us to anticipate your every need and intuitive service is a big part of our culture, and we apologize for not better hitting the mark on several occasions.
Please trust that as a result of your feedback, we will be pushing ourselves in a positive way to ensure massage appointment are completely set, food review directly to our chef for every guest. Moreover, we are reviewing our communication protocol with our resort host regarding resort information, schedule and weather information . Again, these missteps have been addressed internally so we can ensure they are not repeated.

I feel so proud of what the team does on a daily basis as I do feel our service is exceptional, but we are not perfect and your candidness is sincerely appreciated. Rather than rectifying any issues on site, we want to prevent them from happening at all. Should we have the pleasure of welcoming you again, we have every confidence that your stay will be perfect throughout. If I can be of personal assistance in planning your return, please do not hesitate to let me know as my email is darmawan@jeevaresorts.com . We look forward to the opportunity to prove our commitment to excellence sometime in the near future.

Sincerely,

Jeeva Beloam Team
