Drove down from Cottonwood to eat here. They weren't very busy when we arrived, and we were seating promptly. Nice atmosphere, and the food was very good as well. The philly cheesesteak I got was huge, and wasn't the typical thin shredded meat you normally get. This was like steak fingers covered in peppers and cheese, which was great.

The service was good but the kitchen slow. Server kept apologizing for how long it was taking. It was not crowded at the time. Once it arrived the food was great.

This is our second time at Oscars and again very pleased. Food quality is good and well prepared. Staff is attentive and good natured. Wife had Chicken salad. Vegetables were fresh, chicken moist and tender, great blue cheese dressing. I had the fish and chips with side salad. Portions of all were very generous. The side salad was mostly lettuce as usual, and the balsamic dressing was very good. The fish was northern cod. Fresh, good flavor. Beer batter was good but a little too greasy. The fries had a lite coating of some sort that added to the crispiness. Malt vinegar was brought with fish order without asking. Dining area is rather plain, but lunch was served only in the lounge and nicer atmosphere. Appeared to have well stocked bar.

We had a very early dinner and were the only customers. Good service and pretty good food. It is a very old building with a lot of history but not much "charm". That said, it just might be the best dinner option in town! I gave it a Very Good based on the effort more than the result.

Oscar's has a large, bright inviting dinning room with a western motif. There is also a bar area for dining which has a darker interior. My husband had fish and I had shrimp. Both were excellent. The salads were delicious and we particularly enjoyed the fresh, hot bread.
