Theresa and Ian are lovely hosts, who gave us a great welcome and showed real hospitality and friendliness.
They have put so much thought into restorate that old school building and making this to a lovely "home" for their guests.
From the cozy, clean rooms to the great breakfast in that beautiful dinningroom , they have created a warm and welcoming B&B. Best of all was the conversation and the helpful suggestions...walking around Loop Head was great!!!

‎...thanks for taking care of us that much (and cooking for us at night :-)
really wish we had more time to stay!!

I would love to go there again!!

Spent a couple of nights here in June 2012. The rooms and breakfast are both first class and the owners, Ian and Teresa, could not have been more helpful or welcoming.
The Old School is situated in a small village (one shop, one pub) but there is plenty to do and see nearby including spectacular cliff walks, working harbours, safe beaches and a local lighthouse. A nearby pub advertises itself as "The nearest pub to New York". Gives you an idea of how far west you are!
Highly recommended!

We were in the Old School B & B in august 2012 and it was a very pleasent stay.
Rooms are beautifull and really clean, the shower is really hot, the breakfast is excellent and Ian and Teresa are really funny and friendly: it is probably the best B & B we have visited during our two weeks trip around Ireland and it was also cheap.
Finally, we have to say the peninsula is stunningly beautiful, in our opinion even more than other more renowned and popular locations on the east coast
