There was a strange odor outside, not unlike that of a pulp mill. The rooms had a perfumey smell, possibly an attempt to mask the outside odor. On the good side: there are freshly-baked cookies at 5:00; the motel is back off the street so very quiet; clean, comfy bed with both soft and firm pillows; lamp on each side of the bed; large vanity counter. Ample, good, hot breakfast. Nice staff.

The staff is friendly, but otherwise there is nothing positive that I can say about this hotel. It is way overpriced, and in bad need of repair. They advertise airport shuttle service, but that just means that they'll call a cab for you. We ended up staying at another hotel that was very close by that was less expensive and is an incredibly better facility.

The gal at the front desk was very nice. Gave us advice on where to go for supper. Our room was really very nice. Bed was very comfortable. Wifi not so good but that could be our phones also. Had trouble the whole trip hooking up to hotel wifi. Breakfast was very good. Biscuit and gravy, etc. I felt this was a really a good value.

We stayed one night in the vinegar room on the second floor. The room was neat, but the pillows needed to be replaced. The front desk was understaffed, and the front entry to the building was the construction guys' "Smoking and Swearing Lounge." Next time, we will stay at a different motel.

When we opened the door to our room I immediately noticed a weird smell. We had been traveling and were exhausted so I didn't ask to change rooms, which i probably should have. The room overall appeared clean but there were several stains in the carpet. The hotel takes dogs so maybe a few doggies had accidents. We brought our two small dogs, and the hotel charged $10 per dog per night. Maybe they should use those extra funds to clean the carpets. While laying in bed I looked up at the ceiling and swear I saw what was blood spatter. Totally creeped me out. I didn't use the pool or hot tub because they did not look clean. The water in both was very cloudy and more than likely full of bacteria. I would recommend staying someone else even if you have to pay more.
