Nice lunch offering several gluten free soups and salad bar. In summer enjoy
patio seating. Priced right.

My friend & I went to the 'Way of lights' last Wednesday driving from the Alton- Godfrey area. It's a quick trip down 255. We arrived about 530pm & went to the restaurant to have dinner. After we ate then we finished our drive thru the lights. I thought the lights were beautiful & there were places you could get out with the kids. There is no set fee but at the end you can give a donation. I would recommend visiting the lights before it closes this year. Thanks!

One recent Sunday we drove to Our Lady of the Snows in Belleville, Illinois for the 9;30 Sunday Mass. After Mass we drove around the beautiful grounds before going to the Conference Center, The center contains a very large gift store. After spending some time in the store we walked across the hall to pick up our reservation for Brunch. The Brunch was excellent there was a variety of breakfast foods including an omelette and waffle station and many luncheon salads and entry's. Don't miss the Bread Pudding. All in all a delightful way to spend a morning and early afternoon.

We make the annual trek to see the Way of Lights display at the shrine. The lights are amazing. However, there is always the restaurant in which to dine. There are chidren's activities. A holiday wreath display has an endless variety of designer wreaths. And the Christmas tree display is one of a kind.

We come here every year to see the lights, Christmas trees, wreaths, live animals to feed and pony & camel rides. We really enjoyed the story of the trees and the kid's zone was good. We unfortunately did not have time to do the Lego display, maybe another trip. I do like the return of the stuffed lamb with a $15 donation. Kids also get a book on Christmas from the gift shop for free. Would highly recommend coming to see the lights and help this cause.
