Had a great experience staying at a room under the Fairmont Gold program this past weekend. The food was great and really appreciated the help with planning our activities from Mugi and Tiphani! From booking activities to dinner reservations before our show, they do it alll! Their concierge service was impeccable all with a smile on their faces! Have great memories of Chicago thanks largely to their friendly manner while offering great service!

Room tip: Fairmont Gold is the way to go!

Had a wonderful time at this hotel - views are spectacular and the service team were accommodating, helpful and eager to please. The bar is situated nicely in the lobby with a sunken private cool feel. We will be back!

This Fairmont is a decidedly average hotel, although it is centrally located near Millennium Park. The entire hotel is quite dated, particularly the rooms. The whole place is desperately in need of a renovation.

There were a few things that were particularly disappointing about this hotel. The housekeeping service was quite poor - every day the maids left trash in my room that I had to take out myself. The hotel charged me $10 for the “service” of accepting a package, which is typically complimentary at hotels of this caliber. (Furthermore, the “service” provided was quite limited - no one notified me the package had arrived and I had to ask for it at the desk and carry upstairs myself.) My room had a door to an adjoining room and when guests arrived there, I could hear their conversations word for word. Also, I belatedly realized that this door was not locked, which was concerning as a solo female traveler on a business trip.

I had a massage at the spa and the facilities were lovely and staff friendly, but the massage itself was not great. It’s actually made my back hurt more, not less. Very disappointing, particularly given the price point.

The Fairmont Hotel at Millennium Park is a perfect city hotel. It’s a classic and traditional American hotel yet decorated with contemperary style. This May was my second time staying at this hotel. My first visit was with my late husband and that was 16 years ago. We loved our recent staying, too. The receptionists and the roomservice people were extremely helpful and nice. I always feel safe and happy at Fairmont Millennium. This time was my children’s first visit to the hotel. They loved it very much. We stayed at the 19th floor and the room had the Park and the Michigan Lake view. It was a breathtaking view, especially nights. The shops and restaurants are at walking distance as well as all the attractions. The Navy Pier is also close but it was under construction or being rennovated by the time we were there. There was this particular room service employee whose name was Tyrone and he literally rocked! He saved our day. He helped us a lot. He was kind, friendly and helpful. The room manager and the receptionists were so kind, cooperative and helpful.
We all felt rested, we all felt like we were royal and we all felt like we were at home. The breakfast was fenomenal, I have to mention that too. Overall every single thing was fabolous. I can’t wait to come back here again
