This is a great boutique bed and breakfast. Stayed here for our city over-nighter which included dinner and a play. Villa D'Citti could not have been better. Spotlessly clean, superb hospitality, delicious breakfast. We are seasoned B&B travelers and this B&B was wonderful. Staff was hospitable and genuinely kind. The night we were there, it was bitterly cold outside but the fireplace in our room was toasty. Stayed in the Grand Tuscan Suite which is very large. Heated floors in bathroom were great after getting out of the huge whirlpool tub. The suite will accommodate a family - has a small room within which has 2 other beds. The bedroom faces Ashland Avenue but there really wasn't that much traffic to make a difference with noise. Downstairs kitchen is available to use personally (except for restaurant leftovers). Breakfast was more than we expected and we enjoyed talking with the 2 other couples that were staying. We will surely stay here again when the weather is nicer so we can enjoy the outside hot tub and patios. You can't go wrong here!!

Thank you very much for your kind comments. More and more people are staying with us for a night out whether it be a fabulous dinner at the renowned Alinea or a play at Steppenwolf Theatre, both of which are down the street from the Villa.

We are actually on Halsted, not Ashland, which is a great location with shops and restaurants down the street from us at the Fullerton El stop just a couple of blocks away.

So glad to hear that you enjoyed our breakfast offerings while chatting with our other guests.

Looking forward to your next stay with us!

Kind regards,
Cathy

This is a beautiful villa/B&B located near the DePaul Campus in Lincoln Park. This is our second stay at Villa D'Citta and certainly won't be our last. We stayed in the spacious and beautiful Florenza suite while visiting family in Chicago. The suite was very comfortable with two beds and a fireplace. Great light from the three french doors that look out over the courtyard and the sun deck. We love the convenience of the location, the well stocked kitchen downstairs and the hospitality of Cathy and others who helped make our stay fun and memorable.

Thank you for your kind comments. I am so glad that you enjoyed your stay in our Florencia Suite. All of our rooms are different, but the Florencia is indeed very special with the french doors overlooking our sun deck with the outdoor hot tub, a wet bar, and a beautiful fireplace.

Thank you for coming to stay with us once again. We look forward to your next visit!

Cathy

This is a great find in Lincoln Park area. Close to good restaurants and shopping. The rooms (we have stayed in the Milan and Grand Tuscan) are very clean and comfortable with large bath, fireplace, comfy bed/linens and large flatscreen tv. The times (3) we have stayed it has been very quiet and relaxing. Even if they are completely booked you often feel like you are the only one home. Cathy is a great host and always available to help...she knows the area well and is very insightful. Having access to the downstairs kitchen 24/7 is a huge plus...they always have fresh fruit, homemade cookies, waffles, parfaits and panini's anytime of day. They also offer a great breakfast each morning. We have stayed in many hotels and B&Bs over the years when visiting Chicago and this is by far one of the best. We will definitely be back next time we come to the Windy City.

Many guests like yourselves enjoy staying in a different one of rooms each time they stay with us, and others enjoy coming back to the same suite each time they visit.

Thank you for saying that the Villa is quiet and relaxing, even when we are fully booked, and for your kind comments on my being a concierge for guests. It is enjoyable providing guests with tips as to the various museums, restaurants, etc. that Chicago has to offer.

It is always great to hear from guests who stay at many B&Bs and hotels that they consider the Villa to be one of the best place to stay. Thanks so much!

We look forward to your next visit!

Kind regards,
Cathy

This was a delightful hotel. We enjoyed the decor, food, and hot tub. We stayed in the Milano suite which was very large and included a fireplace and bath tub. I would recommend this B&B for travelers looking to enjoy the surrounding neighborhood of Lincoln Park or just to experience Chicago.

So happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay in our Milan Suite. We recently upgraded our Milan Suite to now have a king size canopy bed, and you were on of the guests to enjoy our new addition. The Milan will always be one of our special suites as it is known as "the white room" with a beautiful fireplace, double sink, and tub & shower.

I'm glad that you also enjoyed the special features of our Lincoln Park neighborhood. With lovely boutiques and top restaurants, the zoo, and other attractions, it is a special part of Chicago.

Your saying of "charming city getaway" is quite appropriate, and we look forward to your joining us again sometime in the future.

Kind regards,
Cathy
