I spent 2 nights here as part of a girls' weekend. Every part of the stay was perfect, beginning with the glasses of champagne that greeted us at the check-in desk. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to many great shops, restaurants, theatres, attractions and more. We were given a room on the 11th floor facing north. I was impressed with how little street noise we heard. The room was well appointed, roomy and clean -- with very comfy beds, and as others have said, the largest TV I've ever seen in a hotel. The first night we dined and enjoyed cocktails at the rooftop restaurant. Service was a bit slow, but the food and drinks were delicious, and the views pleasant.
I was equally impressed with the staff. We booked 2 rooms through Hotwire and ended up not needing one. Although non-refundable through Hotwire, the hotel was booked that night and told us they could use the room. They authorized the cancellation if I called Hotwire, which I did and all was taken care of. Many thanks to Stiffini (sp?) at the front desk for her quick thinking and assistance!
Suggestions for dining: It's about a 3 block walk west to RPM Italian (yum) and one block north to Eataly. For cocktails with a view head a few blocks north to the Terrace at Trump Tower, or over the river to London House.
