The rooms and facility are quite nice overall. It didn't get five stars because it didn't prominently say in the booking information that parking is $24/night for guests, which I think is high. Location is great. Right on the highway to Chicago and right on the blue line at a blue line stop.

Room Tip: Get a high floor if you can. Highway noise might be an issue on lower floors.

The Renisannce is a beautiful hotel, with very posh accents.

The building, itself, is situated in a commercial district, very close to other buildings. If it were downtown, I would understand the lack of visible land.

The lobby and adjourning rooms are lovely, obviously updated quite recently. There is conference space, albeit limiting to a smaller event.

The concierge level room I had was oddly shaped, but the bathroom was attractive and modern.

The bed was incredibly comfy and I certainly enjoyed sleeping on it.

Overall, I would give the property 4 1/2 stars, but am only able to select one or the other. I'm downgrading it to 4 because of small property and oddly off suite design. However, I would recommend it much more over other Marriott property's I've stayed at. If nothing more, its relative closeness to O'Hare.

Nice property, close to the trains so the entire city is accessible. proximity also gives you the noise so if you are a light sleeper, request a room away from the interstate/ trains.

We had a great room, lots of space, great service and convenient location. It's a bit hidden but just around the corner. Great room service and huge menu! Next time I'm staying there!

The Renaissance O'Hare offered a very pleasant experience - the hotel is very clean and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful (every staff member I ran into said hello!)!! Beds are comfortable, and I especially liked that you got five pillows on each bed! The fitness center is clean and well equipped, and while I did not use the pool, it was large for a hotel pool and looked very nice. It is a short walk to the train, which is perfect when traveling to Downtown Chicago to eat or sightsee. The train ride is about 30 minutes, though, to get downtown, which was a little longer than I was expecting. Beware, too, that unless you want to eat in the hotel's restaurant (which was very good), there were no restaurants that were easy to get to, it is in the middle of a bunch of office buildings. Overall was very pleased with the stay!
