There are so many better places to eat in Chicago. They have fabulous bread, but the lunch meat is of an average quality. On the up side, they are very affordable.

Everything on the menu at Ada's in fantastic!

I first went here with a co-worker in 2005. Ever since then I have gone here regularly whether it was by myself, with my spouse, friends, or family.

The wait service is a tad slow, but the food quality and temperature is well worth the visit. I love just about everything on their menu, especially their breakfast items like omelettes.

When in Chicago, this is a MUST VISIT RESTAURANT!

Typical diner menu - mostly fried, breakfast available all day. I was grateful to find a black bean burger on the burger list, served with steak fries and excellent coleslaw. This is not health food but it sure tastes good :)

Ate here twice while staying at the Silversmith Hotel. Went for breakfast and dinner. Breakfast food was average, good size portion, but nothing extraordinary. Dinner I had the reuben sandwich. It was very meaty and delicious, was served open faced. French fries were tasty, obviously done in very clean oil. Very small amount of cole slaw on the side, tasty. Service was excellent. Oddly, both times I was there I was the only diner, and the place is very large. Tab was about $12.

Pros: handy if you are staying at the Silversmith, good food, nice portions, reasonably priced.
Cons: none

Highly recommend Ada's

Since they serve breakfast all day, as well as lunch and dinner, this is a good option if staying in the Silversmith hotel and too tired to go out. Had a great burger in the bar my first night here and wonderful lo and bagel for breakfast. Was here for a business meeting and they were very accommodating about taking all of our orders ahead of time so all 25 of us only had to come downstairs when it was time for lunch. The service is excellent as is the quality. Although a tad pricey, it is certainly not out of line for a hotel restaurant i a major city.
