What a lovely place to visit in the middle of a cold Chicago winter. It's beautiful and peaceful. Good parking and a nice place for kids too.

If you are tired from all of the walking and need to sit down, this place offers respite from the elements. But, some of the plants are fake, which is disappointing.

6 different atrium, each different from one another. Desert, spring flowers, fruit trees, palm trees and the fern room. All rooms were lovely, but the fern room was spectacular!green and lush with a beautiful koi pond. A great place to get rejuvenated in the cold weather!

This is one of the nicest pitstops in Chicago at any time of year. Plus---it's free! Step in, and breathe. Rooms of misted ferns, exotic greenery, succulents, cactuses, cool little meat-eating Venus flytraps (!!!)...just a lovely respite. I live in NY and our botanical gardens are great, but...it's a long trip to the Bronx, or to Brooklyn....here, it's a quick few blocks from the Miracle Mile by bus or car. Easy, beautiful, and engaging for all ages.

This beautiful place is just 1.5 miles from home and I don’t think I’ve ever been here. We will definitely be back we absolutely loved it.. Relaxed Sunday morning the smells were too die for.. Parking was free and very easy to access.. Very romantic place for couples beautiful for picture taking.
