We had a lovely 5-day stay here. The hotel is set in a 17th century monastery building (with modern annexe), amid some really beautiful grounds, and with a large swimming pool and tennis courts. Though it's only a 2 minute walk from the bars and restaurants on the seafront, the gardens keep it peaceful. Service is friendly, efficient and low-key - Xavi at Reception was helpful when we checked in, and the bar staff are very nice.
Our room was spotlessly clean - not huge, but comfortable and with a balcony overlooking the gardens. The breakfast (which was included in our room rate) is an immense all-you-can-eat buffet, and there's also an optional/bookable dinner buffet.
Most of the guests seemed to be couples or small groups between 30 and 60; there were a few couples with young children, but not many, and these were all well-behaved. The atmosphere is pleasantly social, rather than rowdy. I highly recommend this hotel.More
