We loved this place. The first night we came for drinks and dinner, which we were pleased with. Then we came back the next night for drinks so we could enjoy the space. Very nice old church with stained glass windows and fantastic history.

Some of the food was excellent (pork horseshoe), some good Ruben and some not so good (meatloaf).

The waitress was friendly, served the appetizers and left before we could ask for napkins and, we finally had to ask for silverware. She eventually got it together and did a more professional job.

The Bartender is a true mixologist and knows his stuff.

If I owned this place I would fire the young, inattentive, receptionist. I tried to get clarity on a sign that said "closed" and something about "restroom cleaning", but got a stare. She was busy flirting with a young guy and did not seem to want to be interrupted. The restroom did need cleaning but did not appear to be in the process.

The building is a wonderfully designed piece of architecture, well preserved from the past, and well adapted to current use. Parking is a hassle for ADA but is very accessible.

Our entire experience with Obed & Isaac's was incredible! The building itself can be a whole post on it's own. The intricate details are stunning and you're eye is always moving to something new. Our food was delicious and complemented the atmosphere. We tried a flight of beers and each one was better than the next. My husband and I cannot wait to come back in the summer and enjoy the beer garden. There isn't anything like it around. We will definitely be back!

Very nice setting. Small beer menu but it does have good variety. Very extensive food menu but not overly elaborate: just good food that's prepared well. Prices are moderate.

The atmosphere at Obed and Isaac's was great, it had been an old church that has been converted into a restaurant. The food was good and affordable.
I would recommend this restaurant.
