My kids and I traveled 2 hours each way once a month to visit this place years ago. My 18 year old daughter asked to go back, just us, trip down memory lane. And she's an adult who still loves Lego. We bought the timed entry tickets online and drove down only to be told we couldn't enter 'without a child'. Then why does your online ticketing system sell such tickets? The manager was nice enough to do a quick tour. But we wouldn't have spent 4 hours on the road for this. If you have this policy then fix the ticketing. Below is family young adult but you don't give that option.
