There are a few other good mexican restaurants in the area so we had never eaten here before but thought we would try it.
The location is not the best, but the trade off is the food was cheaper.
The chips that they bring before the meal were stale. It took a long time for the waitress to bring our drinks, but she was at least friendly and apologetic about it. And after we ordered our food, it did arrive rather fast.
The rice and beans were ok, but nothing special. The beef in my taco didnt taste right. The food all just tasted kind of old. The atmosphere was not as authentic as we thought its be either.
I can't recommend this place.

My family visits relatives in the area all the time. This is the place that beats all the other mexican restaurants for our business. We dine here with young children. The food portions are always large, the meal is tasty. The combination platters always overfill the plate and you will have left-overs. I recommend the barbacoa tacos or dinner platter or the soup, menudo. The gordita's are also a nice dish to order. Families with very young children such as infants or toddlers please note that there is a limited amount of high chairs and booster seats. The bathrooms do not have a changing station.
