Stopped here along our travels to beautiful Southern Illinois at the recommendation of a friend and positive online reviews (not to mention it's owned by a distant cousin of mine). It's a charming little restaurant in the tiny little hamlet of Stonefort. Been through this area countless times in my life, and it's nice to see a decent restaurant making a go of it. If you're biking or walking the Tunnel Hill trail, it's just across the road and while we were there met several friendly cyclists stopping in. We had the pulled pork sandwiches, fries and baked beans and all were great! The owner is polite and sincere. It's cash only. Appreciated the fact that it has decent hours of operation so that we were able to stop in for a later lunch.
