We stay at this hotel a couple of times a year. My friend and I go shopping together and stay here as a getaway. It is a great hotel close to our shopping and just far enough away from home to make it like a mini-vacation.

We went for a family get away with adult children. It was quiet from freeway noise, great location, good breakfast and friendly service. I think Hilton Honors members should have free internet service as a perk.

We had a family emergency (due to our daughter-in-law being placed in Intensive Care at Central Du Page Hospital after surgery) - we unfortunately had a bad experience the night before at a different hotel in the same area. We were greeted by Tania M. at the front desk (a nursing student, coincidentally) who was so accommodating, understanding, and compassionate...she arranged a room for us immediately and offered a complimentary breakfast, in addition to her well wishes for our daughter-in-law. HGI offers reasonable prices for HGI reward members. The staff were great from check-in to check-out. This hotel is close to everything you need for an extended stay. There are stores, restaurants, drinking establishments, and movie theaters which are almost within walking distance.

We stayed at the Hilton while attending a family wedding. The bride's mother had prepared gift bags for all guests staying at the hotel, including homemade treats that she went to the trouble of making, even though she was hosting a wedding. She gave the hotel staff a list of all guests who were to receive the gift bags. We found out after we had already checked out that we were supposed to have been given a bag and hadn't. The bride's mother was very upset.
