This is the worst place where I was: waiters are sloppy, dirty, use obscene language, it's all in the presence of the director of the institution, which is also very ill-mannered.

We've been here twice. Our party included an 86 year old and a 5 year old, and a Polish person who knows what the food should taste like, and we all enjoyed the food. Everything we have ordered here without exception was cooked well, which is why we came back and will likely return.

We visited this place for a Sunday Branch- celebration of a friend's birthday.
Comparing to other Russian restaurants we've been over the years this place is cozy, unpretentious, good for families. Location is convenient, plenty of parking.
Service and food are very good. Typical Russian food can quench nostalgia if one still has it.
This café has two rooms and can simultaneously accommodate at least two parties. The smallest room by the bar is good for up-to twenty people and has a curtain that separates it from the larger room.
As it is common in these type of restaurants the music can be very loud, so if you do not mind it this café is a good place.

Visited this place several times. Very traditional Russian food on the menu - tastes great, especially appetizers and soups. The place is small and very nicely decorated, and the service is excellent. And the prices are very reasonable!
We enjoyed almost everything. The "almost" and the 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the music. Their live music is terrible - or at least it was in September 2013 when we chose to have a party there. I understand that restaurant music has its specifics, but that's how I am judging it - comparing to other Russian restaurants in Chicago suburbs it IS terrible. Both musicians (the guy and the lady) were rude, the guy would take the money and then not do the requested song, and his singing attempts sounded really bad.
Anyway, I hope the owner does something about their live music. This place could really become something very special with better entertainment. In the mean time we'll go there once in a while for lunch when the music is not playing...
