Spotless. Lots of potential with spacious suite and plenty of comforts (fridge, kitchenette.) But a couple of updates needed. For example, the sheets have seen better days. The interior decor is brown and uninspired. The artificially scented "plug-in" air freshener was not pleasant.

Each suite has a different interior and exterior paint color. Some are yellow, teal, or pink. Please let us know if you prefer a fragrance free room. We will continue to inspect our linens for signs that replacements are needed.

The idea of separate small homes surrounding a village green, providing extraordinary room, peacefulness, and privacy is splendid. The upbeat and kind staffers in the reception area are another major asset. The village layout makes it harder for these few people to respond to suprisingly many unexpected needs and occurrences, but they do not hesitate.

While the concept is charming, its implementation has mixed results. Poor signage makes initial orientation puzzling. To get from parking spaces to the units requires walking and ragging baggage some distance, over different surfaces and, in many instances, up or down outside stairways. Stairways, both in and out, are irregular and hence dangerous. Heating in two-floor units is uneven; on cold nights, the ground floor thermostat cannot summon sufficient heat through the forced air ducts to bring.temperatures up to comfort there, while the upper floor swelters. As other reviewers have mentioned, the continental breakfast consists largely of mass-produced, packaged bakery goods with extended shelf lives. The units were spotlessly clean on arrival. Housekeeping was provided, but it was hard to determine of what it consisted.

In short, the advantages of the charming architecture, landscaping, space, and privacy was severely undercut by major functional deficiencies that kept the upbeat staff continuously on their toes.

Thank you for staying with us and for your review. We are designed in a village setting and there are several suites that have stairs either leading up to the entry door or inside the suite going to the bedroom. We do have a wheelchair accessible unit with no stairs inside or outside. Some of our units have a few steps going into the suite but the layout is on one level. Each building has 1 to 2 suites per building. The front desk is open 24 hours a day. We have a maintenance and housekeeping staff as well during the daytime. Our breakfast is a continental breakfast (not a hot breakfast).

We relied on TripAdvisor to find a room while visiting our son at Indiana University. We were very disappointed by the Century Suites hotel. The room was musty, did not feel clean and had a tiny closet for our clothes in the bathroom. House keeping threw a flat sheet on our bed and considered it "made" - it looked like something a 5 year old would do. dirty towels were left in the bathroom and we were not given fresh towels. Everything in the room was old - the carpet, the furniture and the tvs.

Room Tip: Our room was by the main road and we heard every car, truck and motorcycle drive by

We take our guests satisfaction very seriously. We have daily housekeeping service but if the "Do Not Disturb" sign is left on the entry door we do not enter the room. We are in the process of replacing all of our TV's with the flat screen type. Each of our suites has a TV in the living room and in the bedroom. Guests may request a room away from the road if preferred.

Had an event in Bloomington, Indiana. There were 6 of us going up. Normally, we shoot for two hotel adjoining hotel rooms but found a nice review for Century Suites.

The review was inaccurate. These aren't suites they are condo's without the laundry facilities. Huge, well appointed rooms, refrigerator, microwave, frig (bigger than the standard hotel mini frig) , a small cook top set into the counter, a whirlpool tub that you could have launched a ship into.. almost. Additionally, two separate bath rooms and a full size dining room table (large enough to seat all six of us comfortably).

The location was quiet, park like (spotted a deer grazing in front of the suite early the next morning) and the staff were efficient, friendly and attentive.

We look forward to going back next year.

Room Tip: They have floor plans of each of the suites on line. Pick one that works for you and your family or group.
