I've been staying at this property for years--my parents retired in bloomington. I stayed for weeks so I could be with my father in his final days, and stay when I come to visit my mother. The townhouse homes are nicely appointed, decorated in calm and beautiful colors, and are spacious. My current favorites are the second story "flat king suites" which have wonderful light and feel like being in a treehouse. the property is quiet at night. It is just a couple miles away from a wonderful state park down the road where people--esp families can go boating and swimming in the summer. the staff is accommodating and will do most anything to make you comfortable. the restaurant serves dinner and is quite respectable. and the price is quite low for the quality. My children loved staying here when they were young (I picked the two story townhouse then so I could have a bedroom out of earshot).
Bloomington is a hard town to find a room on the weekends with home basketball or football games, so check the college calendar when you plan your trip and book well in advance if you want to come on those weekends, or at IU graduation in May.More
