The museum is so fun to do a walk through. Each room is themed and perfectly decorated. If you're from Cedar lake or just enjoy antiques, you should come here.

So Interesting! The Armour Brothers (think hot dogs!) owned this building to house ice workers. In 1919 the building was dragged across the lake, to become the museum. Learn the connection of Dr. Scholl and John G. Shedd (Shedd Aquarium) to Cedar Lake. Learn about the two ballrooms where Frank Sinatra, Lawrence Welk, The Everly Brothers and many more played. There is a lot of history here!

I really enjoyed my visit to the Red Cedar museum. Each room has a different theme from the past from dr office to an old barbershop. The guides are very knowledgeable with the local history.
