Love it! Didn't realize there was such amazing native history in our area. Small museum with a lot of facts, and then a great walk around to check out the Mounds. Worth the visit.

Worth the trip. Museum had great artifacts and was well layed out and informative. Grounds were well maintained. Gentleman at the desk had a great peronality and directed us to other sites of interest in the area.

New to the area, heard about Angel Mounds. Visited on a Thursday, cool October temps. Plenty of parking. Lovely setting. Admission is reasonable in my opinion. Enjoyed the information provided in the center, interesting about the work done at the sites. Area is open and grassy, be prepared for a walk. While all of the mounds are closed up it is still fascinating to see them and know the history of them. Staff very pleasant and helpful.

The museum is well worth the modest entrance fee. It sets the stage for the outside part, otherwise the outside part is hard to understand. If you don't go to the museum, the outside area is free and a pleasant walk on a nice day.

Visiting the museum was helpful to gain some context about the history of the grounds outside and the meaning of the tall mounds, as well as to obtain a brochure on the layout of the mounds, the stocks, other points. The museum is too expensive for it’s age. Be prepared to wear comfortable shoes and walk, walk, walk. Do you take cold bottled water if you are walking the grounds on a hot day. One of the mounds is accessible to walk up to the top and a bench is waiting for a rest – and a nice view.
