“Fabulous Cottage”
Reviewed 29 October 2018 for a stay in October 2018

We are a family of four with Monty the dog! We stayed for a week in October the cottage couldn’t have been more perfect! So many little extras and thoughtful touches. Would highly recommend and we would definitely stay again!

On arrival we found the house to be welcoming, fresh and pristine and the complimentary prosecco and bara brith a really lovely touch.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house,it was just perfect for us all. It was a real home from home, with lovely thoughtful touches throughout.
The kitchen was really well equipped, the bathrooms were pristine and the lovely thick towels and quality beds and bedding were just the icing on the cake.
It is also in a great location with many attractions only within a few miles. Weather permitting there is also a lovely walk up past the old mill and great views from the top.

We will definitely be back

I can only agree with what other visitors have said. A great property, extremely clean, spacious and well equipped. Beautiful terraced gardens at the rear of the property. Within good travelling distance to Snowdonia, Betwys-y-Coed, Portmadog and only an hours drive to Anglesey.

“The old post office ”

Our stay at the old post office was exceptional. Spotlessly clean, fantastic facilities and a fantastic spot to visit the close towns of Harlech, Porthmadog and Barmouth. Outstanding scenery in the heart of snowdonia, the zip wire and underground trampolines that were 2 minutes down the road was an amazing bonus that kept our teenage kids occupied. Not to mention the extremely friendly and dog friendly pub a 30 second walk from the house to keep us occupied!! I cannot fault the facilities of the old post office and would certainly return there again. Thank you for having us.

The Old Post Office has everything you will need for your holiday.
It is finished to a really high standard, with lots of little touches that make it special.
The kitchen is very well equipped, the downstairs living area/dining area is very spacious yet it all feels very cosy.
All of the bedrooms have lovely theme to them, with nice little touches that make you feel very welcome.
The local area is great, lots to see and do.
A visit to Borth-y-Gest is a must such beautiful beaches.
We will definitely be going back!
