We have stayed here several times in the past and it just keeps getting better and better! The restrooms and laundry are always clean as is the entire park. Quiet area but close to everything. The rates are definitely reasonable for the area. Close to the flea market approximately a half a mile away. While things are not really within walking distance unless you're used to walking, everything is extremely convenient to get to. There is not a pool or playground for kids as this is more of an adult area. I would highly recommend this park.

The location of this place is great for shopping, eating and sightseeing. The complaint is, and we are finding this everywhere we go and stay at RV parks is you are crowding more and more spaces into such small areas we hardly can sit out and enjoy our spot. Our picnic table here is literally about three feet away from our neighbors sewer! Not a good sight. Why can't you. One thought is to plant something to camouflage sewer areas, small fence, or give us more space. Our awning is about two feet away from their slide out. I think GREED has set in. We stay here every year because of the area, but we are seeing no improvement. Still dusty streets, half dead trees, not very inviting for the price. May have to find somewhere else. But will say the staff is very friendly and helpful.

We spent 10 nights here and were pleased with our stay.
High turnover in season but found everyone to be kind and interesting.
Hooks-ups are good.
During the dry season the roadways are quite dusty so don't expect to keep you vehicles shiny and clean.
They have planted dozens of trees but the are too young to provide any meaningful shade yet. Many sites are pull through with 50 amp.
Well maintained situated between 3 pastures with horse and bovine presence.
Closely located near the flea market and local activity.
Shopping and food close by.
Internet connection is s l o w- s l o w

Room Tip: Well Maintained

Love the Shipshewana area and we're new owners of a Travel Trailer. First time here and we really enjoyed the quiet, clean campground. Everyone in the office was beyond nice and helpful. I agree with previous reviews there isn't a lot for kids but.. that's ok with us! Plenty of kid friendly parks out there and this has plenty to offer in the way of comfort. Large sites, some in all sun, plenty of shaded tree areas in back. Surrounded by farms, several stores within walking distance, minutes from the flea market. We liked it so much we made reservations before we left for another visit!

Quiet, convenient, clean, safe reasonable & friendly, what more could you expect. Close to middlebury if you are here for a factory visit with your rig.

Nice people in office and close to everything you may need.

A pool would have made it five dots.
