Very nice try at New Orleans style food! The service staff was outstanding in describing the dishes and letting us taste some of the sauces! The decor is very good. We will be back, but not on Sunday so we can have a Dixie beer!!

This restaurant mirrors NOLA's French Quarter to a T! Delicious Cajun-inspired from that includes crawfish, gumbo, Po'Boys, étouffée, beans & rice, etc.

Daily Specials are available. Add toppings for upcharge. Cooler containing desserts, soft drinks and sides available as well. Plenty seating, beautiful artwork and a full bar.

Service was excellent!

Fast food type of place. Order at the counter and the food is there, scoop and serve like you find in airports and food courts. Taste is good, some options have good heat but overall not great. Bar is not always open and check the hours, they close early.

This place is a hidden gem. The atmosphere is really cool with a bar hidden in the back. Food is ordered cafeteria style with it being prepared as you stand and wait at the counter. You are given the opportunity to sample the different gumbo's so you can find the one you like best. Once you get your food, you pay and have a seat to eat. The food here is very good.

We've gone to J Gumbos several times, and I always enjoy going there. You can sit and eat, take it to go, or eat at the bar. If you haven't been they allow you to sample to find something that you like. I've heard from friends who frequent New Orleans and they've mentioned that this place isn't "true" authentic food, but we find it consistent and delicious every time we go.
