We were 3 couples spending a week driving around St. Martin when we picked a sushi restaurant for our last dinner largely because we had a discount coupon from victory in our resort's crab race(!?).
We struggled to find the restaurant on the sprawling grounds of the Princess Casino, but it was worth it.
We arrived shortly before 6 PM on Friday night 7/15. We had perfect weather to be seated outside in the colorful garden area (see photos). After we asked that the jarring music be turned down (& it was), everything was delightful.
Our charming waiter from Eastern Europe was warm, fun, helpful & VERY responsive. My salmon ceviche was outstanding & the tempura edamame with tasty dipping sauce was a wonderful surprise. Sushi was ordinary, but better than expected on St. Martin. Drinks were excellent & discounted during Happy Hour. All 6 of us were HAPPY.
After dinner we visited the casino & had an enjoyable visit with minimal losses....
