This hotel has easy access to the Interstate and is near shopping and restaurants. It is an older style Fairlfield and the floor in our room really were squeaky and noisy. Sorry people below!

The check-in staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were again slightly dated.

However, one very nice touch was the bagged breakfast available for those leaving in a hurry in the morning.

If you have time, the new Fairfield just down the road in Sioux Falls SD is a nice alternative.

Room Tip: Try the top floor ad the 2nd floor has squeaky areas.

Thank you DayeBob for your thoughtful feedback. Our staff does try to go beyond the normal Fairfield Inn stay - for example the breakfast on the go bags you mentioned. We are slightly older property but do wish you'd stay with us again. Perhaps a room on the top floor would be best. Safe and happy travels to you!

This is the best hotel to stay at in Sioux City! The rooms are comfortable and clean and very quiet. They are not very spacious as they have a fridge and a microwave but if you are looking for an overnight stop it is great. The staff are wonderful. Breakfast is always very good and a good selection. We will be back.

I am a Marriott rewards member that prefers the Marriott chain usually. This however was not a good experience. I use a wheelchair and the room with the roll-in shower had no heat vents in it and on an outside wall was absolutely frigid. I asked for a space heater and no luck- they offered me a fan! I don't think that would have helped. The room was tiny and only a queen bed which is tight for my husband and I. The mini fridge made such a terrible racket we had to unplug it to get any sleep. When we reported our issues to the staff and told them we were checking out early and going to another hotel they didn't seem to care. I am not really a high maintenance guest either!

Dear Paula,

I apologize about your stay experience with us. The issues with the room you stayed in are being dealt with however the service you experienced is well below Marriott expectations. I apologize foremost for that fault in the level of service you received. Your problems should've been dealt with head on and to your satisfaction the first time you shared them with a staff member.

In apology,

Manda Scruggs

This is your average Fairfield Inn on the outside but the staff at this hotel really make a difference. They do all the little things that make a stay very comfortable.
The Internet was free and speeds were very good.
Breakfast was very nice and included. If you had a early flight, they had a pre-packaged sack with a bagel, banana and yogurt at the counter with a Useless A Today paper! They had cookies and mint chocolate sticks at check.
Would definitely stay here again!

Thank you ppijacki for taking the time to comment on your stay experience with us. We work hard to have an exceptionally friendly and clean hotel - thank you for the recognition! I am sorry that you found the room you stayed in small. We do have some larger rooms for our guests - like our executive king room that offers more space to stretch out and relax. We hope to see you again if you pass through the Siouxland area in the future.
