Found this place by accident whilst looking on google maps for somewhere to eat. Absolutely fantastic place, great Welsh rarebit, lovely atmosphere, tasty coffee! There is a small shop where you can buy the chutneys etc, and some other gifts.

Parking on the road behind, dog friendly

Highly recommended!

Superb rarebits - best I’ve had - we shared a Spanish chorizo and the daily special. Cakes and flapjacks also excellent. Lovely service from Rose and terrific setting. Can’t wait to return.

What a fabulous place! The building is beautiful and the food superb.

I had the Indian Summer version of the Welsh rarebit which was amazing.

My partner forgot to mention that she was gluten free and suddenly realised when they brought the food. They made her another one even though we offered to pay as it was her mistake.

Fabulous coffee, tea and cakes too. Plus some lovely cards and gifts.

Can’t wait to go back.

What an amazing place! Situated in a cool converted old school house, this place serves a variety of different Welsh Rarebits alongside soup of the day and delicious cakes. It also houses an art gallery and shop selling local produce and gifts.
We had the Rare Rarebit with Indian spices and mango, and the Autumn Rarebit with caramelised apple, both absolutely delicious.
We were lucky enough to stumble on this cafe, but would definitely seek it out again.

3rd or 4th visit to this place. Always puts a smile on the face. The international standard Welsh rarebits were lovely, as always. Today we had cake as well. The choc and walnut brownie was very nice as was the cherry and almond cake. The lime and courgette cake was sublime.
