The appeal of this restaurant is lost on me, yet they always seem busy. Typical sort of steakhouse with free peanuts on the table and all over the floor. The quality of food, however, is very subpar.
My family and I went here two weeks ago because we received gift certificates at Christmas. The four of us thought we could get a free meal out of it, and would never choose to eat here if we were paying out of pocket. Our waiter was cordial enough, but kind of distracted. My son has food allergies, so I have to ask up front for them to check on the ingredients for the 5 or 6 items on the kids' menu. We decided on grilled chicken and fried apples, because we were told that there was nothing unsafe in either. After my son had 3 bites of the apples, a woman came out from the back to say, "Yeah, that has butter in it". :\
I asked for a medium steak; it was medium rare/rare. My husband was upcharged on a side item with no mention of the extra cost from the waiter at the time we ordered. The total bill ended up being $65 for the four of us, so we ended up spending about $20 besides the gift cards for a meal that nobody enjoyed, not to mention the fun of my son being sick that night. Never again.
