The service provided by the owner, from travel directions to provision of a welcome pack of eggs, bread and milk was excellent. The cottage itself was spotlessly clean, comfortable and well equipped with a pleasant secluded garden which we were able to enjoy ,the weather being warm and sunny. Quiet and well situated, the cottage allowed easy access to all that Fife offers, visiting Elie, St Andrews as well as local walks. Overall a most enjoyable holiday.
An extremely well equipped and comfortable cottage. Ideal for visiting Fife and surrounding areas. Cottage is in excellent condition and fitted with all modern appliances, very clean. Ultimately a home from home.
We spent three nights at Copperfield Cottage and were extremely pleased with it. Everything you would expect to find was there, plus a lot more. The cottage was spacious, cosy and welcoming. It was a lovely old and quaint cottage from the outside but done up to a modern standard inside - the best of both worlds. Everything was spotlessly clean. The beds were really comfortable and there was so much storage space. The cottage is ideally situated in easy reach of all the lovely coastal villages of the East Neuk and our favourite Fife coastal path. The booking process was easy and the travel directions provided and arrangements for accessing the key were all straightforward. We would not hesitate to recommend the cottage and would definitely like to return.

The old fashioned exterior gave no hint of the modern and attractively decorated interior. Everything we needed was there and in great condition. The location was just a short drive to St. Andrews and the fishing villages of the East Neuk, and only about an hour to Edinburgh. The back yard lawn was very attractive and well maintained. We were just a short walk from the Upper Largo Hotel which served wonderful food and drink.
This holiday cottage is a hidden gem. Tucked away in a quiet location, it's still really well located for St Andrews and the fishing villages of the East Neuk of Fife.
It's incredibly well appointed, with everything a family or a couple would need for a nice getaway. The kitchen is really spacious and well equipped, the living room has a lovely fire and comfortable sofas and the bedrooms are cosy.
If I was desperate to find fault, the water pressure in the shower isn't great, but everything else is just perfect. We really enjoyed our stay.
