Stopped for lunch her after touring the Laura Plantation. Fried catfish and gumbo were very good. The roast beef Poboy was just ok.

You won't regret eating here. I had gumbo and a crawfish omelette during my stay here. Both were delicious.

We ate lunch here after touring Whitney Plantation. You do not need to buy a ticket to tour Oak Alley to eat in either of the restaurants. Service and food was excellent!

We had lunch here right after the plantation tour, I'd recommend trying to get to the plantation early to do one of the first tours, then heading to the restaurant before 1 p.m., which is what we did (or arriving before noon and eating first and then going to do the tour.) We had no wait for a table going in, but once we left the line to be seated was out the door and down into the gift shop. We loved the house made dressing for the salad and dishes like the eggplant creole and daily special fried pork chop with cornbread stuffing. They also make these toasted bread pieces served with the salad and the gumbo, they are crispy, flaky and delicious, like a giant crouton, but you get a whole basket of them with the artichoke dip! Desserts were great as well (the buttermilk pie was delicious) as was the mint tea. Plus our waitress was very sweet and helpful with all of our questions. Plus you don't have to choose between the mint juleps with a flight of all 3 for $10!
