Three of us shared a family room (room 5) here last weekend. This particular room had 1 double, 1 single and sofa bed that would sleep 2. Whilst it didn't have a view of the firth (we weren't bothered about a view) it does have a view of the picturesque High Street and the room was very spacious (exactly what we were looking for). The room was nice, clean and comfortable. A lovely Scottish feel without being over the top.
We opted for one continental breakfast and two cooked breakfasts, all of which were very tasty and set us up for the day. Moira and her staff made the stay stress free and easy, nothing was too much trouble. Check in and check out couldn't have been an easier process.
If you are looking for somewhere to stay when you are doing one of the charity abseils from the forth rail bridge, look no further. It's less than 10 minutes walk away and Moira was so helpful minding our bags for us after checkout as we couldn't take them with us when we went to do it. Can't recommend this place enough, would definitely stay here again if I was in the area.More
