The Country Inn is indeed, a pleasant place to stay! Just driving up to the Inn was lovely as it was decorated for Christmas! The foyer is very welcoming with its cozy Fireplace and seating. They offer a substantial morning hot/cold breakfast. However, they can improve in some key areas to ensure theirs guests comfort. Upon entering the room, I quickly found a wrapper on the floor, hair on the floor in the bathroom, the tip of an eyeliner on the bathroom counter and there was coffee or pop splashed on the wall. The beds were very clean (bonus points) but not very comfortable; they were actually a bit saggy. Pillows also weren’t plump. We had a three night stay and didn’t receive any cleaning service- garbage overflowing in our room etc…the last night there, we realized we required fresh linens (after we changed into our pj’s) and we’re told to come to the front desk to get them. Very inconvenient after an already tiring day and we were at the farthest wing of the hotel. Despite some of these inconveniences and lack of detail to the rooms appointment, it was excellent value for the price point. Other hotels in the area are close to double but are definitely more careful to detail. I would stay here again if I were paying solo for the hotel but definitely visit the neighbors down the street if travelling with friends who shared the cost.
