The idea of a white pizza never appealed to me until my friends suggested the Nor'easter. Now I'm a believer!

The Cabin has been around for at least 40 years. Located directly across the street from Bath Iron Works, the building was originally the site of the Donnell Rope Works, which supplied rigging to many of Bath's 19th Century ship yards. Their Greek pizza is excellent, as are their pasta and sandwiches. The Cabin is busy year round.

I've been traveling to Bath for over thirty years but hadn't been to the Cabin in at least seven years. They are still a great local eatery right across the street from Bath Iron Works. We had a group of five for lunch and every person ordered something different. We had everything from salads to pizza to hoagies. I tried the ravioli for lunch and was not disappointed. The food is consistently good. The service is outstanding. The staff are always helpful and professional. When visiting BIW for business, we always try to swing by the Cabin for lunch. Never disappointed.

After a week of restaurants that mainly focus on seafood, we needed a pizza break. We had the garlic knots, which we devoured. Then we had a loaded pizza and a shrimp scampi pizza. Both were very good. The scampi one was surprisingly good for a pizza with no red sauce. Would go back for that. Friendly staff. WiFi made the teens happy.

The cabin has been around for years! Tried the Nor' Easter pizza, steak sub (loaded) and fries. All were good but nothing special. I did like the "white" sauce. Nice change from the traditional red.

They do deliver!
