As with many others, I recently stayed here as part of a GRC conference trip. Overall the hotel was excellent, with major plus points being:

- The food served at Camp (delicious and with plenty of variety. Also included above-par coffee)
- The size and quality of the rooms - nice, big, comfortable beds, modern bathrooms, and generally nice decor
- Activities on offer, which included hiking, kayaking, and archery
- The staff! Perhaps the most friendly and personable hotel staff I've ever met

The only negative points I can really think of are the loud A/C, as mentioned by some others (though it does definitely do the job in cooling the rooms down in summer) and that it isn't the cheapest place to stay, even for a conference. But all in all I'd highly recommend the Grand Summit.

Friendly staff, beautiful area, nice room. However, we would never stay again! We had to pay a "setup" fee of $51 and a daily $25 fee for cleaning. We could only stay for five days and never used the maid service for a one bedroom unit. They claimed the owners also paid this. We have owned and traded timeshares since the early a1980s and this is a first!!!!!

Came for the GRC atmos conference and had a wonderful time. The staff were extremely accommodating and the facilities were clean and comfortable. However, the a/c in the rooms were incredibly noisy at night. The food at the restaurant CAMP was always delicious and plentiful.
Lots of natural beauty around and hiking up the mountain kept us busy.

We had a standard room in the "wing" away from the main building. The bed was too soft, but the worst aspect, was the noise from our own and other room air conditioning units. Leaving the windows open, only allowed more noise from hearing the other room air conditioners cycling on and off during the night. Our small balcony looked out on the forest. Otherwise, room with two queen beds, good towels and linens, and nice shower. Exercise room nice, swimming pool area was good, although limited shade. Didn't try the sauna. Breakfast (included with our room) was above average, with custom omelets. One tennis court that has been sorely neglected, with faded lines and hadn't been swept, which made it somewhat slippery at periphery where there was gravelly layer on many areas.

The hotel is large enough to accommodate all participants in one spot, one restaurant, one site for coffee-breaks. Food at meals was excellent, with many vegetarian options. The conference room is NOT auditorium-style. Everyone sits at the same level, which is not the perfect option. The site could afford upgrading the conference room for a auditorium style. Not the warmest summer vacation you will have, thou.
