The barn are so beautiful and very good space for 7 people,
It very clean and feel like cosy, the reason why we went for weekend because I have been stress and need go away for break.
When we arrive and I feel very warm feeling and stress free.
If you wish go for break please don't bring the games because there have good games in the cupboard
There have dog friendly cottage and I have Boston terrier who is 8 months old who play outside and there very safe because there have net on the bottom of the fence, he enjoy ran around the tree,
At the cottage got everything and no need bring anything for the cottage but need bring walking boot, there have dog walker too
There make me relax and feel peacefully
Would like go back again one day
Thank you very much for lovely weekend break

“Couldn't have wanted for more!”
Reviewed 12 January 2017 for a stay in December 2016

This cottage was perfect for our stay over Christmas. There were 6 of us in the cottage with another 2 visiting for meals etc and there was plenty of room for us all. The cottage is finished to a really high standard and the owner was extremely welcoming - she'd even baked a Christmas Cake for us!
The lounge/kitchen area was really cosy and meant that you can still socialise when eating and the wood burner was fab for adding to the cosy atmosphere and the warmth! There is everything that you need in the cottage and although we went in the winter would be a great place to stay in the summer for the beaches or for a hiking or biking holiday too.
Aislaby is a great little village with a really lovely village pub. Whitby is really easily accessible and there are fabulous beaches nearby. There are regular buses from the village to Whitby.
The cottage is set in a great location with fabulous views. We will definitely come back!

“New year's family break, great location”
Reviewed 10 January 2017 for a stay in January 2017

Great location! Set within the Moors National park this barns offers everything you need and more. You get beautiful landscape views and you can easily reach the best North Yorkshire beaches and sea villages. There aren't shops next door but Whitby is only a 5min drive. We were 2 families with 2 small children(two 4yo, a 1yo and an infant) and we never run out of anything. There's also a traditional pub only a few minutes walk which offers delicious food and they're very friendly.
The barn is nice and cozy and with the underfloor heating the house it's always nice and warm(if this bothers you, you can always regulate the temperature, each room has its own).
The barn is equipped with board games and good sound system if you plan to have a laid down day.
For families there's also a good highchair with table and a travel con, we used both and they were perfect.
I can't fault this place, we travel a lot as a family and this has been the best house we've been to, plus North Yorkshire it's beautiful.
It's been like being in a hotel with the home facilities.
We've had a lovely time and would recommend this place to families as well as group of friends!

“Perfect Christmas break in stunning barn conversion”
Reviewed 5 January 2017 for a stay in December 2016

We had the honor of being the first guests to stay in this stunning barn conversion. Had a very friendly welcome from the owner, the village is charming with a warm welcome in the local pub. All the fixtures and furniture in the barn is high quality and the log burner was much appreciated after bracing walks on the nearby beaches.
Very comfortable, we relaxed straight away and had a great family Christmas. will definitely be back!
