Found this establishment to both friendly and fun to shop... offers all the elements necessary to a beach picnic, if you're headed to the Ogunquit Beach.

I enjoyed walking through the Village Food Market. You find so many different varieties of cookies, pasta, sandwiches, salads, sauces, crackers, cheeses, etc. I went in to look and I bought!

There are no tables to eat inside, but there are a few outside. This more of a to go place. They have all kinds products a general store would have. They have a very good bakery with fresh coffee and a large selection of tasty baked goods. They also have a sandwich section where they make practically any sandwich wish right in front of you. The sandwiches are very tasty and filling. If you a coffee and a baked good or a sandwich to go, this is your place

The place we stayed in had a full refrigerator. The first morning I went down to the Village Market to look for a gallon of milk. I was able to find one there. During the week, I noticed that this store was very busy. In addition to groceries, it sells a large variety of sandwiches, hambergers, salads, pizza, breakfast pastries, and regular pastries. It also has many different kinds of wine. There are some tables inside and outside where you can eat your "goodies". Great place for a very reasonably priced breakfast, lunch, or dinnner.

We dropped in to get a cup of coffee but walked out with sandwiches, pastry & coffee. Very convenient for picking up a quick bite or shopping for the week. Everything is fresh and reasonably priced.
