The only word I can think to describe our experience with the Colonial Inn is perfect. Somehow, that doesn’t even seem strong enough. Everything about the stay was outstanding. The service was friendly, the room was cute and spacious, and the amenities were just what we needed. The location couldn’t have been better and I think we really picked the best of the best for our stay.

Colonial Inn is the best place to stay in Ogunquit. Staff is superb and cannot do enough for you. Rooms are spotless and bathrooms very clean. Sitting areas around the inn and just great social meeting spots or just hang on the couch. Continental breakfast was wonderful only wish they served earlier

Loved this hotel! When we saw how nice the weekend was going to be, decided to book a trip last minute. All the ocean front/ view rooms were taken at the hotels we usually stay at on shore rd. Decided to try here, the price was great compared to our other usual hotels.
We’ve walked by here many times on our way to Perkins Cove, I’ve always liked the look of the hotel, with the big porch and rocking chairs.
So glad we stayed here, chose a room with a balcony, not in the main building. Room was immaculate, and a great size.
Front desk staff was wonderful , very friendly. Grab and go breakfast each morning more than enough selections to choose from. Cookies in the afternoon in the lobby, nice touch. Lobby area was so inviting, with different sitting areas, and the wrap around porch, had multiple seating areas.
Will definitely be booking at the Colonial again!

My family and I stayed in two double queen bed rooms that were side by side. Staff was great. Room was immaculate. Grab and go breakfast perfect. Grounds were spotless. Enjoyed the stay and looking forward to coming back this fall.

My wife and I escaped Vermont for a few days before we begin our winter hibernation. The fall colors were lovely, and this inn provided a degree of service that we enjoyed. Granted, it was not high season, but the staff was attentive, the rooms were clean, public spaces large and attractive, and we felt perfectly safe. The morning breakfast was well done, and hey even had gluten-free bagels. We are from VT, a bubble as far as COVID-19 goes, and we never hesitated to do anything around the hotel. I would return, again off-season as there is something pleasant about no crowds and attentive staff.
