We've driven by this small building for so many years, when driving by it's hard to easily tell if it's open. Finally stopped for a noon meal. Then brought out of town family to shop at the deli area. As mentioned, it's a very small place but the food is great, made to order by Bogusha herself! Love the beets, Hunter's stew, pierogi. Took home some frozen food and had another night. Bogusha is friendly and fun to talk with about travel!

Bogusha's is more deli than restaurant. A full line of Polish foods is offered at the deli as well as Polish grocery items. There are only four tables and individual Polish foods from hand made pierogi, golabki, gulasz, and daily soups are available to meals. The food is outstanding, the conversation is excellent and I thought I was back in Poland for the hour we spent here. CLOSED SUNDAY.

We stopped by Saturday for lunch. Limited seating but there was only one other customer. You park on the Stevens Ave (no parking lot). We ordered golabki (stuffed cabbage) and potato pancakes. This is not a fancy place, it is more like you are eating with family as the food is good and plentiful. There is also a deli with Polish meats and grocery items.

Been wanting to try this small Polish restaurant on Steven's Avenue for years and decided to pop in for lunch today. Unfortunately as one of the hottest days of the summer thus far, the idea of a heavy, warm polish lunch was a little unsettling. Fortunately I had nothing to worry about. I was greeted by who I presume is the owner and "head chef" of the restaurant, a delightfully friendly polish woman. She explained to me she had a cold lunch dish prepared of German Potato Salad with eggs and a cold piece of sauteed haddock served under a mixed vegetable "goulosh," for lack of a better or more ethnically appropriate term. It was an excellent suggestion. The potato salad was as good as any I have had elsewhere and the fish was outstanding. I had never conceptualized cold cooked fish for a meal before, but the combination of the fish and vegetables together was perfect. My host was very friendly and pleasant, helpful, but not overly bearing. Don't have high expectations for atmosphere - the dining area is a little bit cluttered and positioned next to the small market. A fishtank with goldfish sits in one corner and a large screen TV at the other end of the small room, The tables are very simple and dated. If you go in with the expectations of friendly mom and pop service and excellently well cooked polish food you will be very pleased. If you further appreciate the hidden gem of a "hole in the wall" establishment, you will be far from disappointed.
