This is a very beautiful lake; however, I have been here twice now camping and it is always choppy. If you are a bass fisherman you will not find them here.

What a name like that, we just had to see it. With a name like that (you have to know me) I would drive out-of-my way to see it. Plus we were told it was beautiful. We discovered this the on our day trip from Bethel ME and were not disappointed. Pictures cannot describe the beauty of he lake or the surrounding area.

The changing leaves are just perfection. Well worth the trip

We didn’t see any moose. Maybe we looked at the wrong time of the year

This is a must see if you are in the region of Rangeley Lakes Maine. It is a breathtaking view of mountains and lakes that goes on for miles. It is a very curvy and kind of bumpy road up to that point on Highway 17. Don't miss it.

It is big. It is scenic. Still a lot of wildness on its shores. There aren't many easy shore access points. If you're in the area, don't miss taking a peak.
