It gets 4 stars because the young lady at the front was fantastic. Helpful, cheerful and genuinely nice. I wish I had gotten her name because she was the bright spot amongst angst cooks that could have sucked the happy out of disney world.
The ribs were good as well as the black beans and rice and mac and cheese. The sweet potato casserole, smoked turkey, potato salad left a lot to be desired and the corn bread was as heavy as a tire. Perhaps some like it that way but I am not one of them. The place was clean, has counter service but does have a bar....a bit too bright to stay and enjoy I am afraid I would only get take out and it is the standard industrial country shabby chic. Overall I would go back.

We love barbeque and saw their sign so decided to give it a shot. You walk in and order like you used to at Bonanza, then go sit down. We were here late Sunday afternoon and were disappointed that they were out of ribs for at least another 45 minutes. My wife got the pulled pork with macaroni and cheese and banana pudding and cornbread, all around A+. I ended up getting the fried catfish which was crispy and tasty. The Brunswick stew was decent and the skillet corn was more boiled than what I expected. Cornbread was very tasty. i added the smoked turkey and hand made potato chips. The turkey in the marinated slaw was delicious. The chips tasted like they had been sitting a while but were still tasty. Just surprised that beef brisket and fried chicken are only available on certain days. The prices were reasonable and portion size was pretty good. We will try again, want to try the ribs and brisket.

first time here and a very delicious lunch! Sandwiches are stuffed full of meat & nice options for sides. Only reason for not a 5 star is bbq sauce selection is minimal...

Being from Memphis, i'm hard to please, but the pulled pork here is very good. Well seasoned as it smoked, and nice burnt ends. would be better to have a choice of sauces instead of just their one, but it's pretty good. Sides could maybe be a bit more flavorful, but all in all not back for something 'north of the Mason-Dixon' ! :-)
