Extremely accommodating arrival with 2 dogs. Lovely clean and comfortable room on the ground floor. Coffee machine and very supportive mattress added to the success of the stay. WIFI was excellent and ample parking off the road.

Stayed for the weekend, absolutely loved it, we had bed and breakfast, the bed was huge and super comfy, rooms were warm and cosy very clean, tea coffee provided in the room, bathroom had big fluffy towels shampoo shower gel soap hairdryer iron and board provided. Breakfast a good choice we had full Scottish breakfast both mornings, which was excellent very tasty and well presented. The dining room for dinner is very pretty and charming with wood burners candles and fairy lights, food again was wonderful with a great choice and large potions. Dogs are welcome at this Inn. A truly lovely place to stay the staff are all lovely professional polite and friendly. Jack the manager goes out of his way to the guests welcome nothing is to much trouble for him, he is very cheerful and welcoming.
We will definitely return in the future.

Stayed at the Inn at Lathones for 1 night in February Jack was excellent very helpful and nothing was too much trouble for him. We hadn’t booked any meals but decided to have an evening meal that was excellent quality in their restaurant that had been very well presented. Because of this experience we also booked to have breakfast and we’re not disappointed as this was equally as good.

The staff on arrival were very welcoming and helpful, check-in (and check-out) could not have been more straightforward. We had 3 different rooms - an attic double (with a fire - major bonus!); a twin room (that was suitable for wheelchair access) - both facing the road and double in the courtyard. All rooms were a great size, some of the interiors were a little tired but generally 4.5/5.
The food, the food - well you won't be disappointed. Starters of muscles, garlic mushrooms and baked Camembert were thoroughly enjoyed following by the most amazing locally caught haddock and chips - amazing presentation too. The portion did not warrant a starter. The breakfast menu was extensive - not like we have seen in a while - and all meals were excellently presented and tasted wonderful. The waiting staff were attentive and friendly and we wanted for nothing.
When you book a property in the countryside, you need to take all aspects into consideration. For the road facing rooms, a very friendly local cockerel could be heard - who needs an alarm clock! That said, there are free range eggs for sale at the farm.
The property is dog friend and they are very dog friendly indeed - thank you to Jack and his staff. Amazing - you won't regret staying at The Inn at Lathones.

This is the first time we have visited the Inn at Lathones and hopefully it won't be our last as we had such a lovely time.
The location is great for all the East Neuk villages as well as St Andrews.
We had a superior room with a large decked area to the rear of the hotel overlooking farmland. It was very quiet and peaceful and would be a lovely place to sit in summer (managed 10 minutes - it was February!).
The room itself was spacious, clean and well appointed with a huge, comfy bed and a large bathroom with whirlpool bath and a large walk in shower.
The public areas of the hotel are lovely and cosy - lounge, breakfast room and main restaurant are all great.
The food was delicious - good choice on the menu at both breakfast and dinner and generous portions.
Finally, the staff - every person we met was friendly, cheerful and well trained - they are a real asset to the hotel.
