We stopped for a late lunch before going to the Botanical Gardens Aglow. I had the very delicious fish chowder - full of fresh haddock and my husband raved about his chili. There was a very nice variety of breads to choose from as well. The grandchildren enjoyed loaded nachos and a gluten-free pizza.

Driving past on a rainy day, we thought we'd stop in for a quick lunch; the cafe was packed, but our server worked fast. Lobster soup and lobster roll for one, chicken soup and salad for another. Nice food, good coffee-- and a great location on the main street just before the bridge. Definitely a good place to stop.

This place has a great view of the river, good food, and the prices are reasonable. My partner enjoyed her haddock chowder and some bread from the soup and bread bar. I had the Ruben. It was very good.

The service is good, as is the atmosphere. We would stop here again.

Tables overlooking the Sheepscot River and good, tasty food at a reasonable cost. The "whaleboats" (calzones) are big and delicious as are the soup and breads, the latter available for an inexpensive and very yummy lunch. You can sit outside in the summer for an even more enjoyable occasion. The servers are very nice and efficient. We like the unpretentious decor and the prices. Sarah's is terrific.

We stopped for lunch at Sarah's Café in Wiscasset. We were seated at a table overlooking the river. We ordered soup and a sandwich. The soup and bread bar is wonderful. I had Haddock Chowder, and my wife, Broccoli. We split a Philly and cheese sandwich. Everything was delicious. The variety of breads at the Soup and Bread bar were outstanding.
