Excellent lobster. Love the atmosphere and the location overlooking the ocean. Great fried mozzarella appetizer. Great service.

Upstairs and downstairs (good ocean view on both, best on top floor). Well prepared and well served dishes. Nothing fancy, but pleasant and simple dining area. Had lobster sandwich which hit the spot and treated myself to a slice of tasty, warm blueberry pie. Decent choice of local and national beers, bottled and on tap, along with a decent, but limited wine selection. Very family oriented.
We went on a Saturday night in April and got in fairly quickly. The tables are close together downstairs which made for loud dining. But the lobsters, lobster roll and scallops wrapped in bacon were delicious!
First off the food was very good, the service on the other hand was terrible.
We waited over 5 minutes right off the top for a host to greet us, then she had to see if there was seating available upstairs. Once we were finally seated we then waited again... By the time the waitress came over for our drink order we were ready to order our food. She then brought our drinks, still not taking our food order but then proceeded to turn around to the couple behind us who arrived over ten minutes after us and take their food order! Then walks by our table to put in their order... Meanwhile we STILL haven't ordered our food. At this point we should have left. It just got worse even to her bringing out check.. Keep in mind we had 2 impatient kids with us.. Anyway, we've been here before without issue.. I won't be back anytime soon that's for sure.
I am super sorry to hear this. Although there is no excuse for poor service I feel the need to share that it has been an unexpectedly busy week and we are short staffed. I would like to think that everyone has done their very best but apparently we fell short here. We are siked for the warm weather & a busy summer, I will address the poor service with the staff for sure! I encourage you to give us another try!
We ate breakfast here twice and liked both meals. There is a good variety. Went back at lunch to try the lobster bisque but did not care of their version...not chunks of lobster in this one, just a smooth sauce-like soup. BUT the view is worth the trip and wait staff was great.
