This is a grand old cottage with fascinating rooms and decor. A little out of the center, but an easy walk for those who are fit and a two minute drive for those who aren't. We had an enormous suite (with AC) with views of the wonderful gardens. There is an amazing light display at night. The breakfast was served on the circular porch. Okay but nothing special.
Helpful owners, interesting guests. Definitely a sense of peace and quiet.

For our anniversary we wanted a quiet getaway and the Inn at Tanglewood Hall fit the bill perfectly! It is set back from the main road and has a beautiful relaxing atmosphere with rocking chairs and a hammock on the big front porch where you can also eat breakfast. We stayed in the lovelyl decorated suite with the sitting room and wonderful enclosed porch where we could sit and read. Andy and Su were so welcoming and a wealth of information on the area and we enjoyed going to Old York village and Nubble Lighthouse without the crowds in Ogunquit. It was nice to be able to walk to several places to dine also. We are so glad we decided on the Inn at Tanglewood Hall and hope to be back soon!

Stayed just one night with Andy and Sue at their beautifully decorated and furnished B&B. Our room was very homely and cosy and we loved our high bed and the stool to climb onto it! Just a few minutes drive from Old York village with its great historical interest and a few miles from the scenic Nubble Lighthouse. Andy was on form with recommendations of places to eat and local walks. Enjoyed chatting with Sue about her interest in genealogy. Breakfast was yummy and kept us going most of the day. Wished we could've stayed longer. Oh nearly forgot one the highlights of our holiday was seeing the white tailed deer just across the road!

Excellent stay! Comfortable and beautifully maintained old home and grounds. Breakfasts are amazing treats. Su and Andy are delightful hosts. Andy was even so kind to help me find the best route around New York and printed out step-by-step drive directions on his own initiative. Easy run into town, but out enough for peace and quiet.. Recommend it highly.

We had a wonderful stay in the Billiard Room. Comfortable bed, lovely porch, very private. The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. Andy and Su were extremely kind and helpful. My favorite part of the inn was the hammock on the main porch. So comfortable and relaxing! We would definitely return!
